Last Thursday evening I attended the Cape Town launch of a tasty new concept: The Magnum Pleasure Store.
Located on the first floor of Cavendish Square (towards the Ster Kinekor side), this limited-time-only pop up store is a place where you become the creator of your very own Magnum ice cream masterpiece.
After wowing top cities around the world and creating a chocolate frenzy over in Joburg, Cape Town has joined in on all the Magnum excitement, allowing pleasure seekers from the Mother City to be part of the Magnum 25th birthday celebrations by becoming the master of their own taste bud journey…The Make My Magnum experience works like this: You choose of one of their decadent chocolate dips. Then you select 3 toppings from their spread of nearly 20 different toppings ranging from sea salt & chilli flakes to rose petals and chocolate-coated honeycomb. Wrap it all up with a bit of sprinkle, and voila!
(You’re also encouraged to share it on social media using the #MakeMyMagnumSA hashtag)
At the launch, co-hosts Jonathan Boynton-Lee and Leigh-Anne Williams kicked things off by showing us how things are done: After which we had free reign to design our very own devilishly tempting creations: Soooo… wanna get creative as well? Then take note of the following important details:- Where? Cavendish Square
- Open for how long? 8 weeks only until 15 March 2015
- Opening hours? Open daily from 10am to 8pm
- Cost? R40 per ice cream
Also keep an eye on social media as they’ll be running some exciting competitions and giveaways, including a Valentine’s Day promotion in conjunction with Heart FM.
Come on guys and girls, you definitely deserve to treat yo self. 😉
