Have you been to Short & Sweet’s Rooftop Cinema yet?

Looking for something cool to do as a mid-week / hump day treat?  Why not check out the Short & Sweet Rooftop Cinema happening every Wednesday evening over at Batstone Pool in Green Point.

Each week they screen a different selection of 8 short films, music videos & short animations which have been sourced from all over the world.  Add to this some great views, a drink in your hand and some friends by your side, and this becomes the perfect way to make the most of a “school night”.

They do have limited space however, so online bookings are recommended.  It’s also a good idea to get there early to secure a good seat.  In case of bad weather (like rain or wind), they will need to cancel; but in the event of cancellations, your ticket will automatically be transferred to the following Wednesday (no refunds unfortunately – but if you’re in a real bind, you can also email cara@shortandsweet.tv to arrange for another date)

The line-up is always kept secret, so everything you’ll see will be a complete surprise.  BUT I guarantee you that you’ll leave there inspired by at least a couple of the films.

To join in on the outdoor cinema fun, take note of the following:

• When?  Wednesday evenings – doors open at 18:30, movies start at 8pm
• Where?  Batstone Pool – Fourth Floor, Cape Quarter, 27 Somerset Road, Green Point (Look out for the Batstone Pool signage outside & inside the Napier Street elevators to the back right of the Spar on Level D.  Go to the 4th Floor, open the fire door & turn left)
