It’s SA Horrorfest time again…

by Karisa

Halloween is just around the corner and to celebrate all that is ghoulish you can join the SA Horrorfest which is running at the Labia Theatre until 4 November.

Celebrating their 12th year this year, the line-up includes everything from movies, short films and a live movie soundtrack performance, to literature, Halloween dress-up and a mini-market.

The majority of the movies in this 12th edition of the HorrorFest will be making their African premieres, and you can be the first to see the new anticipated prequel OUIJA: Origin Of Evil, before anyone else (that’s happening this evening, so book today!).

The Makabra Ensemble’s live movie soundtrack performance this year (which is taking place on Sat) will be for the 1932 French-German classic VAMPYR (this is also linked with the audience Halloween dress-up competition and mini-market outside the cinema).  And it’s dress-up and participation time with the ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW!
