Another fun night with Come Wine With Us

Last week I joined my favourite dinner club, Come Wine With Us, for a special Christmas in July event which took place at Reuben’s at the One & Only Hotel.  Now before we continue, can we just take a few moments to do some oohing and aahing over how beautiful this hotel and restaurant is:

Stunning right?  For those who haven’t heard about Come Wine With Us before, this wasn’t my first outing with them (and hopefully it also won’t be my last).  They do monthly events here in Cape Town (as well as in Johannesburg now too) which aim to bring great people and great brands together.  Ticket prices are quite affordable ranging from approx R230 to R360, AND you’re getting really great value for your hard-earned monies.

On this particular occasion they brought together the amazing food from Reuben’s with beautiful wines from Durbanville Hills  and the musical stylings of singer Luna Paige:

Every event has a different theme & focus and sometimes they do some very interesting trips, like their recent cultural exchange trip to Khayelitsha.  Your host Sybil Doms and her business partner, Peet Stander, will make sure you’re well looked after and I’m sure you’ll want to join them again and again.

A big thanks to Sybil & her team.  Kim and I had such a lovely time and I hope to be back again for the next one…  hopefully I’ll also see some of you guys there?
