Will I see you at the Cintron Pink Polo at Val De Vie this weekend?

by Karisa

The Cintron Pink Polo is a much-anticipated annual polo event held at the beautiful Val De Vie Estate just outside Paarl.

But it’s not only a great opportunity to dress up & enjoy some of the finer things in life, it’s also an opportunity to contribute towards an incredible cause (which we all associate with the colour pink of course):  breast cancer awareness.

This year they’ll be supporting Reach for Recovery and their DITTO Project which provides breast prosthesis to women who have undergone a mastectomy.  Reach for Recovery says that the reality in SA is that many cancer patients can’t even afford a bra, let alone breast prosthesis, and the DITTO project aims to help these women feel beautiful & confident again.  I think that’s amazing, don’t you?

Now I’m very excited, because this will be the first year that I attend the Cintron Pink Polo.  The last few years my Instagram & Twitter feeds were filled with Pink Polo awesomeness and it left me feeling some major FOMO.  But this year, not again I tell you!  Not again…

Make space ladies… I’m coming through… 😉
