For the past two years I’ve been involved with an amazing event called Fashion Flavour & Art (presented by Ambienz Bespoke Concierge) where all money raised goes directly to the Cancer Association of South Africa (aka CANSA).
This year my schedule’s been a bit manic, so I haven’t been able to help as much, but there’s another incredible night planned for Sun, 3 July and I’m asking you guys to please show them (and this very important cause) some well deserved love & support.
The oh-so-sexy Shimmy Beach Club will be creating the backdrop for an evening that’s aimed at being a celebration of all the beautiful things in life.
It’s going to be luxury all the way with sponsors like Maserati, Deetlefs Wine Estate, Bvlgari fragrances (and more), and on the entertainment front guests will get a look at beautiful sculptures created by local artists, Schalk van der Walt, in a series called “Visions of Self”, an exhibition called ‘Power of Sound’ by Jordan-Lee Garbutt, singer / songwriter Amy May will be treating the crowd to her acoustic sounds and the Le Femme Fatales will be bringing some old Hollywood glamour to the stage.
MC for the evening will be the beautiful Jade Hubner from Top Billing, and then there’s also going to be a fashion show featuring the Schwarzkopf Professional Mrs South Africa 2016 finalists who will be modelling evening gowns by designers Joseph Ribkoff (Canadian), Werner Dey Couture (SA) and Anel Botha Couture (SA).
On top of all that there will also be a host of fabulous raffle prizes up for grabs, with all funds raised also going directly to CANSA. And then each guest will walk away with a decadent thank you bag sponsored by Langaro Wellness Centre, Bvlgari and many more.
The theme for this year’s event is “One Moment in Time” and they’re inviting everyone to come and share their stories of life, love and strength with them.
