A couple of weeks ago I met my friend Leigh at Hudsons in Kloof Street for a little beer & burger catch-up sesh before she jetted off to sunny Thailand (while I screamed… take me with you!!!). 😉
Now to be honest, I hadn’t been to Hudsons in years. Part of the curse of always trying new spots is that you never really get to revisit some of the “oldies”. Because of this, we decided to throw in some snacky things we hadn’t tried before, just to give the menu a bit more coverage…
Hudsons on Kloof… A great little spot for a cold beer (or two)…
On the left: Mac ‘n Cheese croquettes (R48) served with a truffle cheese sauce & zucchini fries (R45) served with Sriracha mayo. On the right: The Bacon Jam (180g @ R71) – beef patty topped with cheddar cheese, lettuce, bacon jam & dusted onions.
The mac ‘n cheese croquettes were an absolute winner and well, they do still make a pretty mean burger. BUT I’m not just here to tell you about my lunch, I’m actually using it as an intro into sharing the details of an awesome little slider special they’ve recently launched.
With their “Slide into the Weekend” campaign, Hudsons diners can enjoy delicious sliders at only R20 each. Now I dunno about you guys, but I actually really love sliders. With sliders you can try a couple of different burger choices without looking like a total glutton, and with so many burger options on the Hudsons menu, now you don’t have to choose just one.
The slider promo will be available every Thursday at all Hudsons branches nationwide. Here in the Western Cape, Hudsons has branches in the following locations:

- Stellenbosch
There are only 2 T&Cs to take note of:
- It’s available in-store only, no take-aways
- And a minimum of 3 sliders per person is required (but at a total of R60, you’re still saving R15 – R35 if you compare it to the set slider selections they have on their menu)
