So yesterday I told you all about my amazing stay at the beautiful 15 On Orange Hotel (If you missed it, hop on over here). Well the experience was nicely rounded off with an all-you-can-eat Sunday lunch buffet like no other.
It only happens once a month, on the first Sunday of each month, and trust me, it’s something you just have to experience…
Paired with bottomless bubbly, (yes that’s right bottomless!) with a selection of Graham Beck MCCs on offer, you kick things off in the cold section with all the starters, salads and seafood dishes your heart could ever desire: Now after going wild in this section (and I promise you, you will go wild), you’re gonna want to take a bit of a breather. You’re really only a 3rd of the way in and there’s still a lot of eating to do….I could hear my dad’s voice “pace yourself now, pace yourself”. He’s right of course, a buffet is not a race, it’s a journey people.
Round 2 consists of all the tempting hot dishes:

Don’t stress if some of these serving dishes look a bit empty, they just keep refilling and refilling! These dishes from top to bottom are a Thai seafood curry; gnocchi with gorgonzola, spinach & toasted walnuts; Chermoula lamb cutlets; hazelnut crusted beef filet mignon with fondant potatoes; baked Kingklip; spring veggies & egg fried rice.
Things you need to know:
- You can check out the full menu over here.
- The cost is R495 per person (People with Prokard’s are eligible for a discount)
- Lunch kicks off at 12:30 (get there early and take your time)
- Booking is essential. Just call the hotel on 021 469 8000.
I again have to say thanks to the 15 On Orange team, those guys truly rock.

I know right! I was definitely battling, because I wanted to taste EVERYTHING. But yeah, it’s well worth taking your time so you can make the most of it. 🙂
