If you haven’t yet been to The Watershed market at the V&A Waterfront… I have only one question for you: Why not??
It really is awesome… Think more than 150 tenants featuring over 365 innovative brands – a great platform for uber talented, emerging designers who are just waiting for you to discover their beautiful creations. You’ll find everything from ceramics and furniture, to textiles, fashion & jewellery, making it the perfect shopper’s paradise.
Now normally the market is open from 10am until 7pm daily, BUT on the last Wednesday of each month you will now be able to enjoy some extra nighttime market exploring with their new Good Night Market:
- Date: Kicking of this Wednesday eve, 29 April, and then taking place every last Wednesday of each month
- Time: Extented hours until 9pm – with live entertainment from 6 to 9pm
- Venue: The Watershed, 17 Dock Road, V&A Waterfront (next to the Two Oceans Aquarium)
- Entrance: FREE!
Each month they’ll be going the extra mile to create an extra special market environment. They’ll do this by bringing in live music, food trucks and a drinks bar to add to the general vibe.
For their first Good Night Market this Wednesday, they’ve also partnered with Between 10and5 to bring you a photographic exhibition based on the theme of “Unordinary”. The exhibition will feature large-scale photographs by both established and emerging local photographers who focus on showing the world in an unusual way. (Find “Unordinary” in the east wing of The Watershed)
