Been dreaming about a luxury getaway? Why not pay Capsol.co.za a visit

by Karisa

Whether you’re planning a little “staycation”, you are (or know of) someone visiting Cape Town, or you’ve maybe just been looking for a great pad to rent out for a special occasion, Capsol will have you daydreaming in no time.

Specialising in luxury holiday rentals, Capsol has over 2000 villas & self-catering apartments in Cape Town, Camps Bay, Clifton, the Atlantic Seaboard and other surrounding areas.

Capsol actually started back in 1996 as a family-run business providing upmarket accommodation & associated services to the film industry. But since then they’ve found their niche in the luxury villa marketing & rental industry.

If you’re really looking to spoil yourself (or me – seriously, just email me!) then you’ll definitely find your perfect fit here.

Their website is super easy to navigate. You can search by occupancy, price and/or suburb. You can also do a keyword search, like “infinity pool”. Trust me, it works – go and try it. I spent ages browsing through gorgeous villas, imagining a dip in each pool… It’s a kind of “kiss your productivity goodbye” feature…

Or for those who prefer a bit more practicality, they also have some simple category groupings, like “Romantic Villas & Apartments”, “Child-Friendly Holiday Rentals”, and “Best Beach Villas”.

If you’re a little on the price concious side, you don’t have to fret, because even their Bronze price category (R1250 – R2750) has options that’ll have you livin’ it up in style. Take this Bantry Bay gem with magnificent ocean views for example:

Or how about this sexy city slicker apartment in The Odyssey building in Green Point:

If money is no object (or you can rope in a nice group of friends), then maybe you’d be interested in something like the Msangasanga villa – it sleeps 10, so divvied up it definitely warrants some serious consideration:

Another one that caught my eye? Mitchell House in Hout Bay – with it being located in “the Republic”, it totally counts as a out of town break. Just think of the magnificent braais you’ll have here:

For those, who like me, loves a good special, their Cape Town Winter Accommodation Specials page is a must visit. Here you can secure some really cool discounts at various properties for the months June to September.

I for example found some really great options that fit in quite nicely with my freelancer’s budget:

If, however, you’ve had a look around and you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed, you can also give them a call on +27 21 438 9644 and speak to one of their consultants. These guys and girls know the various suburbs and properties like the back of their hand, and therefore they’re perfectly placed to take your specific requirements into consideration in order to find the best fit.

Their office hours are Mon – Thu 8:30 to 18:00, Fri 8.30 to 16:30, and Sat 9:00 to 13:00. So if you do feel like you need a little help, do give them a call.

For the rest of us who doesn’t see a getaway happening anytime soon, there’s nothing wrong with a bit of window shopping, right? Go on, I know you want to… 😉
