Short & Sweet’s weekly rooftop short film experience is back

by Karisa

Short & Sweet has partnered with Oude Meester to bring you another awesome summer rooftop season of weekly short films.

Taking place every Wednesday evening until 24 Feb 2016, you can join them for a full creative journey with a carefully curated programme of short films, pop-up art exhibitions, guest performances from spoken word poets, and even acoustic sound experiences.

PLEASE JUST NOTE:  The Rooftop Cinema is weather dependent. In case of rain or heavy wind the event will be postponed to the following Wednesday and your ticket will be transferred to the next week.  Tickets are non-refundable, so if you can’t make the next week, spread the love by giving your ticket to a friend.

Just look at that sexy setup…

All the action goes down at Batstone Pool – Fourth Floor, Cape Quarter, 27 Somerset Road, Green Point.  It can be a bit tricky to locate them if it’s your first time, so take note of the following:

  • Look out for the Batstone Pool signage outside and inside the Napier Street elevators to the back right of the Spar on Level D.
  • Go to the 4th Floor, out the door, turn right and step into your little piece of pool deck paradise.

Doors open at 6pm, films kick off at 7pm.   Tickets are only R80 for general entry and are available via Quicket over here.

Come on, do it.  If it’s your first time, you’re in for a treat.  If you’ve been before, you already know that it’s a pretty great way to spend a Wednesday evening.
