Come Wine With Us celebrates Havana Nights with Fleur du Cap wines

by Karisa

Last week I joined the awesome folks from Come Wine With Us & Fleur Du Cap wines for a sexy little “Havana Nights” celebration hosted at the new GINJA Restaurant in the V&A Waterfront.

Panama-style hats and red lips in tow, my friend Kim and I jumped in an Uber (cause we’re all about responsible drinking) & headed to the V&A for an evening of wining and dining – our two favourite things. 🙂

On the menu for the evening was a 3 course meal paired with some beautiful Fleur Du Cap wines, and to help set the scene the Brent Krus band treated us to a set of hot Cuban tunes…

Looks good, doesn’t it…

Yes please! #popthatcork  That Cabernet Sauvignon was absolutely lovely…

A full house & a cool vibe…

The talented Brent Krus band, doing their thing. If you’re looking to book some live entertainment, contact Brent on 0742389045.

For arrival drinks we also got to try Fleur Du Cap’s Natural Light Rose. Definitely a great choice for the warm summer months…

Time to dig in…  Also, that Chenin was a winner too…

Thank you for the awesome photo Bernard Bruwer!

As you can see, this was definitely a fun night out and the one important thing that I can confirm is that:  The wine certainly never runs out at CWWU events… and I love that!  I’m unfortunately going to be missing out on their next Cape Town event which is taking place on 1 & 2 Aug (because I’m going to be in Greece baby!), but you can still join them – and you really should.  Here are all the details:

  • #bettertogether collaboration event with Boland Cellar
  • Venue: Burger & Lobster Restaurant, 105 Bree Street. Parking available on the street or better to UBER/Goodfellows
  • Date: Tuesday 1 Aug and Wednesday 2 Aug
  • Time: 18:45
  • Dress Code: Smart Casual
  • Cost: R390 pp (and that includes a welcome drink and a 3 course meal which has been carefully paired with Boland Cellar wines)

To ensure you don’t miss out, hop on over to the CWWU website over here and book your seats now.
