Have you checked out the new Tiger’s Milk on Kloof yet?

by Karisa

So there’s a new Tiger’s Milk on Kloof… well actually there are two entrances:  one on the Kloof St side next to NY Slice and the other on the Rheede St side across the road from Sawaddee:

The Rheede St entrance…

Decor wise, you’re looking at the classic Tiger’s Milk vibe we’ve come to know – quirky & casual, large wooden tables, a big golden bar, touches of greenery and as an added bonus, this one has a large courtyard and outside area, something which their Muizenberg & Long St branches don’t have.

Let me show you around:

Aah yes, the perfect spot to chill and have an ice cold beer on a warm, sunny day…

On the food side, it’s their standard menu which you can check out over here.  They’re open for lunch & dinner from 12:00 to midnight, Monday to Sunday.  I’ve always really enjoyed their pizzas & burgers (especially their Triple Bypass burger – it’s a must!), but recently also had a steak there which was really good.

They’ve only been open for just over a month now and it’s already a Cape Town hotspot.  The place is buzzing every time I drive past.  I reckon they’re really going to cook during the summer months, that courtyard is just way too inviting…

To have a look for yourself or to book a table, here are all their contact details:

  • 55 Kloof Street, Gardens, Cape Town
