A splash of pink and lots of bubbles… That’s what’s waiting for you at the Paul René “Splash of Pink” bubbly festival which is taking place next Saturday, 4 Nov 2017.
All the bubbly action will be taking place at their beautiful home, the Wonderfontein Wine Estate in Robertson.
Lovers of bubbly will be able to enjoy Paul Rene’s authentic handcrafted brut and brut rose along with gin cocktails and cherries from festival partners Clemengold Gin and Cherry Time.
Entertainment wise, Arno Carstens will be there to get your feet tapping, and for the little ones there will be horse rides and other fun activities to keep them occupied while mom & dad enjoys some well-deserved adult time. 😉
You can also challenge a friend to a game of Boules or Croquet, or simply find a shady spot on the lawn while enjoying the beautiful view of the Langeberg mountains.
On the food front, expect market-style stalls selling Saldana Bay oysters, Norwegian Salmon and other gourmet treats. Bubbly will also be on sale at a special festival discount price.
Entry fee is R250 (children free) and includes a welcome bubbly-drink and a beautiful goodie bag with a surprise or two.
I went to their inaugural festival last year and it really was a lovely day out in the winelands. I loved that the festival was small & intimate and that you could just sit back & relax while enjoying delicious bubbles & food, some cool tunes and a really gorgeous setting.
