My girlfriends and I recently got to test drive their mobile spa service, and we decided to go all out with a little pamper party at mine. It involved bubbly, wine, pizza, cupcakes, and getting our nails done up all pretty all while in the comfort of my humble abode.
Ritza went for a Gelish pedi, while the rest of us went for Gelish manis… and yes that is a boy you spot there in the back, but I mean come on, we did need someone to pour the drinks right?
For those who aren’t familiar with Gelish – it’s a is soak-off gel varnish for your nails. It’s more durable than normal nail varnish with no chipping or peeling and you should get at least about 10 days of perfect wear out of them.
“Hot Rod Red” was definitely the popular colour of the night…
But I went for a rich, dark winter colour called Black Cherry Berry. My lovely therapist (and owner of Beauty DIrect), Zelda, also added a little golden heart for me because she knew that I’m a little heart obsessed. On the right I’ve just added a shot of my nails in normal light the next day. Pretty right?
Zelda and her team are really so lovely and they do a fantastically professional job. I’d say it’s a great idea to book them whenever you need a quick pick-me-up, as an excuse to spend some quality time with your girls, or even for bridal/baby showers, birthdays, team builds and the likes.
