You should know the drill by now because this is o You should know the drill by now because this is one of my favourite events in Cape Town… Wednesday Wine & Dine at @harringtonsct 🥂

3 courses, welcome drink & full wine tasting. Only R375 pp, every Wednesday, featuring a new wine partner every month.

This month they’ve partnered with @aabadenhorst Family Wines and the tasting includes a welcome cocktail made with their Capertif Vermouth (think Aperol, but a proudly South African take), their Secateurs Range Chenin & Red Blend, as well as their Papegaaai and The Riviera wines.

On the food side: you have a choice of two starters, for mains you have a creamy garlic, butternut & sage linguini, pan seared linefish or their flame grilled ribeye with a creamy peri-peri sauce. Then they wrap things up with baked custard pots topped with a chocolate coated honeycomb & vanilla cookie crunch.

Get there early to take advantage of happy hour specials & half price tapas (4pm to 6pm).

Wine & Dine Wednesdays at @harringtonsct is always Wine & Dine Wednesdays at @harringtonsct is always a winning idea.🍷❤️ This month they’ve partnered with @fairviewwineandcheese , not only for a tasting of 5 beautiful wines, but also by incorporating their delicious cheeses into the menu. Think mushroom arancini with Fairview brie, grilled sirloin with Fairview blue rock sauce & a lovely roasted citrus tart made with Fairview cream cheese… Everything was so good.👌🏼👌🏼 At only R375pp this remains one of the best nights out in Cape Town. Catch them again this coming Wednesday, you won’t regret it. 😏

The stoep (aka veranda if you’re feeling fancy) h The stoep (aka veranda if you’re feeling fancy) has become my favourite part of the house. It’s giving Karoo farm house, but in the city & I absolutely love it. ❤️

A space that looked pretty dire & joyless when we bought the house is now a place to relax with a glass of wine after a long day, catch up on the comings and goings of the neighbourhood & enjoy watching the cable car go up and down Table mountain.
